Michelle  Mitchenor

    Michelle Mitchenor, New Jersey native, is a triple threat.  She is a rare gem, something most people long to be. She is a hard worker, cursed with the insatiable desire to accomplish her dreams. She has talent pouring out of her veins. Her passion all things entertainment is evident not only through her shining, outgoing personality, but also her vast understanding of the ruthless business.

    

    Michelle was bit by the entertainment bug early on in life. At the tender age of 14, Michelle made the decision to embark on her journey in entertainment when she was accepted into Ocean County Performing Arts High School in Lakehurst, New Jersey. 

 

    While studying dance, theatre, and voice, her passion for the arts grew tremendously. Throughout high school, and upon graduation, she knew she couldn’t imagine her life without being active in the entertainment industry. 

 

    

Biography

     Harnessing her burning passion, Michelle decided to mold her craft in Baltimore, MD at Towson University, by receiving her B.F.A in Dance Performance. During her matriculation, Michelle not only danced, she was heavily involved on campus. Her drive was evident and unstoppable. She became a Resident Assistant in the on-campus dorms, wore the Ms. Black Towson University crown from 2007-2008 and became a member of the illustrious Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated. Shortly thereafter, she became president of the National Pan-Hellenic Council. After graduating Cum Laude, Michelle never lost sight of her goals. She relocated to New York City where her career blossomed exponentially.  Doors began to open for Michelle. She began performing and working with top choreographers in the commercial industry such as, Rhapsody James, Dana Foglia, LUAM, and Frank Gatson Jr. 

    However, Michelle knew this wasn’t enough. Nurturing her artistry, Michelle then left her heart in New York City and traveled cross-country to Los Angeles, where she now resides. Soon after her arrival, she quickly began working with Los Angeles’ top choreographers, and studying under the most sought after acting and vocal coaches. Michelle is extremely grateful for her support system from family, friends, and her agency Bloc NYC/LA for all the blessings that have come across her path thus far. Despite her disappointments, Michelle has and will always be a fighter. She will always try to be better than she was yesterday. With all of her experience, training, dedication, and hard work that she carries throughout her success, Michelle is certain that this is only the beginning. Michelle Mitchenor is the epitome of the elusive area of where hard work and talent collide into endless opportunities.
